Professional Background
Kgomotso’s career started off working as a Clinical Psychologist within a health centre specialising in HIV/AIDS training and counselling, where she spent four years. In 1999 she joined Deloitte Consulting as a change and learning specialist, where she consulted to private and public sector clients for 7 and half years. The next four years included a role as Group Human Capital Manager for Consol Glass and two years as Founding Director at Motheo Leadership Solutions, a Human Capital Management Consultancy.
Between May 2010 and November 2015 Kgomotso was a member of Rand Merchant Bank’s Human Capital team, where she led the set up of the Talent Management Centre of Excellence, participated as an Executive Coach, contributed and represented RMB as Business Process & Stakeholder Engagement Lead on several First Rand Group Human Capital Projects.
Kgomotso currently heads up a People Strategy and Practice Consultancy, which focuses on aligning business and people strategies, project management and implementation, executive and team coaching, leadership development, organisation and change management and well-being programmes.
In her capacity as an Executive Coach, Kgomotso is passionate about partnering minority leaders, who are making entry into, or already operating within multi-cultural, high performing contexts, to help them find their authentic voices, achieve great results and legacies. Her current clients include Financial Services and Manufacturing organisations.
Within the team development context, she leverages from Cognitive-Behavioural Psychology and Neuro Semantics to diagnose team strengths and development areas and craft interventions that enhance the team’s functioning and performance.
Kgomotso’s Clinical Psychology practice focuses largely on supporting individuals and families grappling with health challenges, facilitating them through processes to deal with the emerging emotions to be able to bounce back as best as they can.
Kgomotso lives with her family in the North West Province. She enjoys reading tons of books, music, dance, cooking, travel and photography.
